Hike for Heroes 2014

Hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2014 to help build a veterans' treatment retreat

How can you help?

Simply donate a penny-per-mile.

You donate $22.00 and we will hike 2,200 miles for it. That's $22 in memory of the 22 veterans we will lose to suicide today.

We need 5,000 people to make that $22 donation to reach our goal of $100,000.

All donations are immediately received by the charity and go to help build the retreat where veterans and their families can get the help they need dealing with PTSD and other stress-related issues that often lead to suicide.

Get involved. Make the donation. Save a life.

Hunter and I will be hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2014 to raise $100,000 for ActiveHeroes.org, a Kentucky-based veterans' charity whose focus is veteran suicide prevention.

Twenty-two veterans commit suicide every day.  Active Heroes is in the process of building a veterans' retreat, a place where veterans and their families can get the help they need battling this epidemic. We're going to help by raising $100,000.  You can help by being one of the 5,000...
